Monday

Well, after taking apart a quarter of my quilt I finally have it ready to be reassembled. Quilt surgery sucks.

I got most of my errands done today. But, when I went by the doll shop I found it closed. I'll go back tomorrow. I'm excited to see what they say about the pictures I took of the doll from the pawn shop. If they think it's worth something then I'll go back to the pawn shop to bargain with them. They've had it for a while, don't know much about it, and are willing to take any reasonable offer.

I noticed an email I received a few days ago. It was notifying me that my dress I ordered had arrived. I guess I'll go pick that up on Wednesday as well. I'm excited that it came in three and a half weeks early but disappointed that it came in four days too late for this year's ball. But I can't wait to wear it next year!

Before Josh left I purchased some food items from Target for him to take to my family in Korea as gifts. When I went to Walmart a few days later they had those same items for several dollars cheaper. I re-purchased them there with the intent of returning the Target ones. As my return was processing today I asked them if the items would be restocked. The associate said they would be discarded. Such a waste! I know that they don't know if I poisioned them or not but I could let perfectly good food be thrown away just because I didn't do price comparisons before purchasing. I walked out of the store with my items and with thirty five dollars less than I intended.

A benefit of Josh being in Korea is that I feel more rested when I wake up in the morning. I guess it's because I don't get woken up at 5:30 am. A con would be that I freeze without his extra body heat.
