"Cleaning" the Itsy Bitsy Spider

Yesterday morning Henry and I were laying in bed in my room. We were just waking up and as I was opening my eyes I saw in the corner of the room a rather large spider. I pointed to it and said to Henry, "Look at that bug. It's a spider. We don't touch spiders. It'll bite you." He looked at it for a moment and said, "Itsy bitsy spider?" The Itsy Bitsy Spider song has been his favorite for the past two weeks. "Yes Henry. Don't move. I'll be right back, okay?" I ran downstairs to get my Raid. I didn't want to take a chance trying to kill it with a shoe in case I missed or it jumped. I came back up stairs and pulled up a chair so I could reach it better. When I was done Henry asked, "Clean the itsy bitsy spider?" "Yes, Henry. I cleaned it real good." We flushed it down the toilet and Henry says, "Bye spider."

On a slightly different but related note, last Sunday Henry was standing in the living room purposely drooling. He said, "Look, Mommy. Waterfall." "No, Henry", I said, "Don't do that. It's not a waterfall." He questioned back, "Water spout?"
